Dusk Of Delusion (France) (F)Unfair CD/LP Review

Dusk Of Delusion is a French band who have created their own universe from previous band experiences which includes bands such as Akroma,Elvaron,Forsaken World,Ghord,The Horde & Redline.
Honestly I haven’t heard any of those bands except Elvaron as far as I remember, but I guess that can be a positive thing when "judging" something" new from members known from other bands.
Neo-Metal is what this frenchmen label themselves as, that doesen’t really tell me anything though.
I picked up the U(Nfair) in the mail two days ago and must admit it was kinda fun to actually hold something in your hands, reading the promo flyer and look at the cover and song titles instead of searching through tons of emails, but if everyone sent promo’s in the mail I wouldn’t have room for anything else in my appartement, but enough about that, let’s focus on the music.
I have played this album so many times I’ve lost count ‘cause it promise what the flyer says.
Dusk Of Delusion has an agressive approach and are hard hitting from the start, that being said this is not black/death metal or anything , just hard hitting neo-metal and I have to admit I enjoy it more and more as it has and gives me a raw intense energy, still they leave room for good melodies and an overall entertaining album full of agression towards the suck world we live in and Dusk Of Delusion sure know how to get their frustration out in a good way that entertains and engage the listener.
(F)Unfair is an album I can spin in the morning when I drink my coffe to get extra boost, but I have no problems listening to it later at the day ‘cause this is an album I can put on and just relax or whatever simply because this is a damn good album from start to finish and I dont have to worry about skipping tracks like so many albums witch is almost torture to listen through.
Definately an album worth checkin out when it hit the stores 9th March 2018 and it will be released on vinyl aswell. 12 tracks og quality metal nothing more to be said.

BLACK SPACE RIDERS Reveal Artwork/Track List for 'Amoretum Vo1. 1' / Official Video for New Single Released

German Riffonauts BLACK SPACE RIDERS have revealed the artwork and track list for forthcoming LP Amoretum Vol. 1. The band has also released the official video for the first single "Another Sort of Homecoming." Check it out at

Amoretum Vol. 1 will be released on January 26. The single can be purchased and the album pre-ordered on all digital platforms, including Bandcamp, as well as at the band shop:

Track List:

1. Lovely Lovelie
2. Another Sort of Homecoming
3. Soul Shelter (Inside of Me)
4. Movements
5. Come and Follow
6. Friends Are Falling
7. Fire! Fire! (Death of a Giant)
8. Fellow Peacemakers

The internationally acclaimed predecessor Refugeeum brought BLACK SPACE RIDERS renown with its mixture of thoughtful, sensitive themes and hard, atmospheric rock. Two years have passed since then, two years in which the world has not necessarily become a better place in the eyes of most people.

War, terror, displacement, destruction, rejection and nationalism dominate the headlines. Or, as a wise little green fellow once said: "Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering."

"All you need is love", countered the BEATLES in 1967. The response of BLACK SPACE RIDERS in 2018 is Amoretum, a made-up word comprising "amor" and "arboretum" to symbolize a protective garden and a germ seed of love. And so the new song cycle of BLACK SPACE RIDERS is all about the conflict between fear-hate-rejection-darkness on the one hand, and love-empathy-care-light on the other.  For, how else should we overcome hate, if not with love?

Musically, this conflict is consistently put into practice by a band that beats its own path and is constantly developing. The electronic experiments of the Beyond Regugeeum EP of 2016 have been reduced sonically and cleverly integrated into the powerfully sounding songs. Between fat, dirty riffs and trippy delays, everything that sounds good is allowed; the album is interspersed with a flowing groove throughout and an ever-present atmosphere that embraces the listener. Heavy, sometimes proggy, often psychedelic, always engaging and almost catchy and danceable, Amoretum Vol. 1 takes us by the hand, shows us the dark side, and then wants to give us the hope back that we so often painfully miss.

The album flows from song to song as if from a single cast. The listener wonders after 45 minutes whether everything is really already over, and wants to go back to the beginning again immediately.

But of course everything is not over after 45 minutes in the world of BLACK SPACE RIDERS. The band also announces a second chapter for 2018 ... Amoretum Vol. 2 is waiting for us, while we are looking forward to Amoretum Vol 1.

Mormânt De Snagov to release new album on Pest Records

The Black Metal group Mormânt De Snagov was founded back in 2008 in South-West Finland in order to recreate and refine the darkest form of music. Now after 10 years of grinding and blasting, two full-length albums and a series of EPs and singles, Mormânt De Snagov are proud to announce their third full-length album which will be released in early 2018 through Pest Records. The new album is called Depths Below Space And Existence and will be unleashed unto the world on the 16th of February 2018.

The new album introduces a boldly different Mormânt De Snagov than heard on previous outings and the renewed band logo spotted on the album cover is merely the first subtle hint on the completely updated sound of the band. Extreme Death Metal influences have been infused with the more traditional Black Metal delivery and for the first time, keyboards have been used extensively to create sonic soundscapes. Even hints of jazz music can be found from the new mix, which makes Depths Below Space And Existence also the most polarized Mormânt De Snagov album up till now in terms of the song material. The album brings the listener from epic heights to esoteric atmospheres and is intervaled with brutality and nihilistic serenity.
Lyric-wise the new album is a study of the human mind and human as an individual subject. We as a species are easily influenced by ideologies: whether it be religious, political or social agenda and the faint-hearted herd of sheep will always follow the strongest voiced opinions. We have a tendency to create artificial boundaries, which inevitably leads to controlled societies, loss of individualism and eventually increased amounts of conflicts. If freedom of thought is subsequently lost, does a single human life matter anymore?

In anticipation of the new album, Mormânt De Snagov offers an official video for the track Resist, now online and available here:

ANIMA DAMNATA: Reveal Third Album via No Clean Singing

Polish Death Metal act Anima Damnata are streaming their third full-length album via No Clean Singing. 'Nefarious Seed Grows to Bring Forth Supremacy of the Beast' is scheduled for a 1 November 2017 release through Godz ov War Productions and Malignant Voices and it will be available in CD, 12"LP and digital download formats.

Stream the album:

The album is going to be exclusively premiered during the Polish leg of the Abhorrent Desecration Tour 2017 where Anima Damnata will be supporting Black Witchery, Possession and Nyogthaeblisz.

'Nefarious Seed Grows to Bring Forth Supremacy of the Beast' was engineered and produced by M. (Mgła). The cover art and additional illustrations were created by Mar.A  Artworks, and the logo was designed by Christophe Szpajdel.

Regarding the new album, the band comment:
"The 'Nefarious Seed...' was meant to be more intense and overwhelming than our previous releases. It is like a demon sitting on your chest, taking your breath away. Although it is more mature and less chaotic, it strikes with greater precision at the foundations of extreme metal music. This album is rather self-inspired; however, some influences of bands like  Deicide, Sarcofago and Morbid Angel may be audible. The lyrical concept is mostly set upon Promethean values, the inner strength driven by the darkest visions, and the impending end of all religions. The production of the album follows the pattern set on Scott Burns' early works, but it has been enriched with foul miasma. The 'Nefarious  Seed...' completes our rapturous pentalogy dedicated to the Horned Lord. There is a bad moon on the rise, and the future is dark."

Pestilence releases fantastic artwork for “Hadeon” and first single!

Check it out here:

Just before the darkest day of the year Hammerheart Records is extremely proud to show the world the artwork for “Hadeon” by Dutch death Metal legends Pestilence. It is created by Michal "Xaay" Loranc (Behemoth, Nile, Evocation, Vader, Necrophagist), a very talented Polish graphic designer whom perfectly turned Patrick Mameli’s visions and concept into art!

Together with the announcement of the “Hadeon” cover artwork Hammerheart Records releases the first single-track from “Hadeon”, the song “Multi Dimensional”. “Multi Dimensional” is a great appetizer for the album and shows all of Pestilence's trademarks in one killer song.

The perfect mixture of old school and some innovative elements (as one would expect from Pestilence), a song that indeed could have been on a logical follow-up album to the legendary “Testimony of the Ancients” album. Enjoy!
